The workshop is in part inspired by Well wishing, wishing well (2025) which features a wishing well which Gregory sees as a site shaped by reflection, shared hope and contamination. Through a sustainable 8mm film development process, participants will combine and transform what they have gathered on the walk including plant material, images and wishes. They will be developed into a short film that will be screened at the end of the session. Herbert hopes the workshop and the collaboratively produced film will create space for the gathered materials to contaminate each other embracing a sense of entangled hopes, transformation and possibility.
